You’re invited to revel in the presentation of six outstanding California Cabernet blends. Join us Monday, October 19, at J-Prime Steakhouse to experience the following:

  • Halter Ranch “Synthesis” 2013, Paso Robles
Tasting Notes: Relish in this blend of power and complexity. Combined flavors of Cabernet Sauvignon with the richness and elegance of Syrah create a harmonious combination. This wine offers aromas of red and black fruits with flavors of currants and blackberries leading to a smooth finish.
  • Ferrari Carano “Tresor” 2012, Sonoma County
Tastin Notes: Enjoy a blend of the classics– Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Merlot. Vibrant aromas and flavors of fresh boysenberry, cedar, baking spices vanilla, and toasted oak combine with a full, rich mid-palate with considerable, round tannins. This wine’s upfront silkiness and roundness make for a delicious selection.
  • Susana Balbo “Brioso” 2012, Argentina
Tasting Notes: Indulge in the deep aromas of black currants framed by light French oak and witness the brooding and intense garnet color. This wine is unforgettable with its big, lush and concentrated core of red and black currant fruit. It has a range of layered flavors including dark chocolate, tobacco and cedar that leads into a long finish.
  • Duckhorn  “Paraduxx“ 2011, Napa Valley
Tasting Notes: Fusing the robust flavors of California’s native Zinfandel with the grandeur of Cabernet Sauvignon, Paraduxx has embraced the best of both core varietals to produce a world-class blend with a decidedly Californian personality you need to sip to believe.
  • Franciscan “Magnificat” 2012, Napa Valley
Tasting Notes:  Take in the rich flavors of plum, dried cherry, clove, cardamom, and cassis with hints of peppercorn and cocoa and take part in the smooth entry made possible with ripe berries and cherry. The seamlessness of this wine shows well-knit tannins woven into a supple and full palate.
  • St. Supery “Elu” 2012, Napa Valley
Tasting Notes: Experience this opulent blend that presents with deep shades of reds and purples. Aromas of dark fruit, blackberry and black plum combine with elements of espresso, vanillin and molasses, as well as notes of smoky oak and dusty terroir. Flavors of dark plum and cassis follow with anise and toasted barrel attributes. This red blend offers a finely textured silky structure with density and a graceful appeal you won’t want to miss.

Sit down this Monday and allow yourself to enjoy some of the finer flavors in life, that we have handpicked. We look forward to having you!
